What PlannerForge collects, why we collect it, and how your connected social accounts are used.
This Privacy Policy explains what information PlannerForge collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and specific: we collect what is needed to run the planner studio and to publish marketing content when you ask us to.
We collect the following categories of information:
You can connect a TikTok or Instagram account to PlannerForge to publish the content you create here. Connecting is entirely optional and always initiated by you.
When you connect an account, we receive an authorization token from that platform. PlannerForge uses that token only to publish the posts, drafts, or videos you choose to send to that account. We do not post anything on your behalf without your action, and we do not use the connection to read your messages, your private content, or your followers.
You can disconnect a social account at any time from the Publish page, which revokes our access. Information the platform itself holds is governed by that platform's own privacy policy.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your connected social accounts to post without your instruction, and we do not share your planner content publicly unless you export it or publish it yourself.
We share information only with service providers that help us run PlannerForge: hosting and database providers, authentication providers, our payment processor, email delivery, and artificial intelligence providers used to generate planner suggestions and listing copy. These providers process information on our behalf.
When you publish to TikTok or Instagram, the content you choose and the authorization needed to post it are sent to that platform. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of PlannerForge and its users.
Planner and post records stay in your account until you delete them or delete your account. Deleting a planner removes it from your dashboard. Deleting your account removes your planners, your posts, and your connected account tokens. Some records, such as completed payment confirmations, may be retained where law requires it.
Access to your data is limited to your own account, and connections are protected by tokens issued by TikTok and Instagram. We use encrypted connections and restrict internal access to what is needed to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password for your account.
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We also use analytics to understand how the app is used. You can block cookies in your browser, though parts of the app may stop working if you do.
PlannerForge is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. You can edit most information directly in the app, and you can email us for anything else. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
If we make a material change to how we handle your information, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above.
